You need to think about where you want to fly from. If you're not fussed then you can pick a general area - eg: london airports, or a region. This adds in much more flexibility to getting the cheapest holiday offer.

If you limit the airport to just one then you restrict the number of flights available. Therefore if you're looking to save money on a holiday you need to weigh up how much it'd cost you to get to alternative airports.

A photo of the hotel, what rating it is, how long the holiday is for, what outward and return dates are (and flight times), What brochure its done through, the adult price, and how much you save. Each hotel info has a details button and a cost it button.

The details button gives you useful information about the late deals and the cost it button - as it sounds - tells you how much it'll cost you.

As always with travel you need good travel insurance. If you have your own travel insurance you can confirm this on the booking.

Some of the hotels offer you a quick video of the facilities. They're well worth watching to get an idea of what the place is like.
They all have pictures of the hotel, some have video - suitable for 56k or a bigger version for broadband. They show a map of where the hotel is, as well as written information about the location. They state when places are not suitable for the less able.
They offer information about food and entertainment available at the location, Whether swimming pool, sports and facilities are available. What facilities are available in the appartments, how frequent maid service is and how often towels are changed.

They also state how many appartments are within the compex or hotel, how many lifts, whether its suitable for children and also importantly they give an opinion chart of people who've holidayed there. They give it marks for Overall, Location and Accomadation.

The information about how close the place is to restaurants and bars is also useful, as id distance from towns. This makes it easier for something to suit your needs. If you like to be near the shops then you need to know!

It is worth checking once you've found a hotel you like the look of - there are videos and lots of pictures available.

Review of Thomson Holidays online -

As a 57 year old apprehensive internet user my first holiday booked on line boosted my confidence no end. It was not only easy, it was a very efficient way of finding an inexpensive holiday. I logged on to Travel Freebies.co.uk and browsed through the holiday companies on line. I was not sure were we wanted to go; only that it had to be warm and cheap, this was just a weeks get away for some sun and relaxation. After browsing through the different holiday companies I chose a Thomson holiday to Malta a place we had never been.. Not only was there a picture of the complex on line but also a video clip which showed in more detail what the place was like. So with 10 days to go I booked our holiday. Within 48 hours I had received the written confirmation letter which I had to take with us to the airport, where we collected our tickets. That was my one dread the tickets would not be there but needless to say everything was fine. The holiday was a great success we made the right choice of complex and area. This I put down to partly tto the ability of seeing the holiday complex and the area of Bugibba on video instead of just photographs in a brochure. As I have said this was my first experience of booking a holiday on line but it certainly will not be my last. From now on when I’m looking for a holiday I’ll log on to Travel Freebies.
