Once you've booked online - hopefully through one of our recommended companies you'll find your holiday will be fantastic but we've compiles some hints and suggestions on how to make sure you have a better time!

Have more fun on holiday by learning the lingo before you go. By having a go at learning the language you'lll find it is easier getting about, ordering drinks and food, and you'll get so much more from your trip if you've made the effort.
Language courses are available locally through community colleges, online through companies like Linguaphone - give you the chance to learn to speak the language before you go. You'll enjoy your language classes even more once you've had a go at using your knowledge.

What if the weather isn't lovely? Chances are it will be, but if it rains you'll appreciate a little research to ensure that you know what you can do indoors. Your hotel can usually tell you of attractions suitable for poor weather.

Make friends with your tour rep! The reps are there to help, but if you're not happy with something and you don't tell them they can't sort it out! Keep the info on how to get hold of your travel company with you on your holiday - ensure you've got a copy in your hand luggage and main bags. (Do the same for insurance too!)

Problems at the airport can really drive you mad! Especially if a case goes missing.
One solution is to split up your clothes so you and whoever you're going with have half clothes packed for the other person in your case. That way if one goes missing you've both got clothes to wear.
Duplicate important documents so you've got more than one copy with you too!

Make an approximate chart for the currency so you know how much general amounts are. That way you'll know what you're spending.
